Director

Josue Munoz Rodriguez

Josue is the director of The Nest. His responsibilities include leading and coordinating the strategies and operations of “EL NIDO”, project management, the search for financing, institutional representation and decision making to ensure compliance with the organization's mission and objectives. In addition, Josue supervises the work team, fosters strategic alliances and ensures the sustainability and social impact of the initiatives developed by the institution. Josue is a valuable link between all of the projects of Manglaralto Giving and the community we serve.

Community Outreach

Melissa Pincay Cantos

Graduate in Tourism, with experience in social promotion and administrative management. Melissa’s work includes the coordination of reports, the organization of agendas and the planning of activities, guaranteeing efficient communication and adequate monitoring of processes. Her work contributes to the development of projects that promote inclusion and social well-being.

Occupational Therapist

Jonathan Vera Rezabala

Graduate in Occupational Therapy, his functions are to provide an occupational rehabilitation service to people with disabilities, improving their motor skills so they may achieve greater independence in their activities of daily life. Jonathan focuses on clients of all ages who present a physical or intellectual disability.

Psychologist

Kenya Rogel Gutierrez

Graduate in Psychology. Kenya specializes in caring for adults with anxiety, depression and grief disorders. In her practice, she offers emotional support and therapeutic tools to help patients manage and overcome psychological difficulties associated with these disorders, using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Psychologist

Michael Arreaga Saltos

Graduate in Psychology with a master's degree in Inclusive Education, with an addition in psychoeducational intervention. Michael’s work is dedicated to the comprehensive care of children with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN), designing and applying strategies that promote inclusion and respect for diversity in the educational environment. Through a personalized approach, Michael seeks to respond to the specific needs of each student, considering their particularities to guarantee an inclusive education.

Community Outreach

Kenia Salcedo Borbor

Graduate in Graphic Design. Kenya is a social promoter with the objective of identifying families in a state of vulnerability for their respective attention and monitoring. Kenia is also in charge of the design and visual communication of the program.

Melissa Lemus

GAD President

Thanks to Melissa Lemus, President of the Parish Government of Manglaralto, her cooperation allowed the infrastructure of El Nido to receive the necessary adjustments for its optimal functioning, in addition to the fact that the Parish Gad of Manglaralto pays a salary to the social team and allows the therapists to provide their services to the community once a week. Her office sponsors the community kitchen for older adults.

Ivan Minda

Bishop of Santa Elena

Monsignor Ivan Minda, is the bishop of the Diocese of Santa Elena and the representative of the Catholic Church in the province. His cooperation allowed us to have land and access to the abandoned church building, free of charge on loan for a period of 4 years with the possibility of extending this time.
