Thanks to the pediatric team at #hospitalbasicomanglaralto and #MinisterioDeSaludPublica, Manglaralto Giving began our program of health evaluations for our BAMA families yesterday.
These tests will give us more information as we choose the food staples for the BAMA food bank each month. Many families live with food insecurity in our area, and we want to be sure to offer the best food options we can.

Manglaralto Giving was able to donate some clothing for premature babies to the Manglaralto Hospital, thanks to some very kind friends from England who gathered and shipped a large suitcase of baby clothes to us. On average 80 babies are born each month at this hospital. Many are born with low birth weight or are premature.
More importantly, we were able to make connections with the directors and leaders of the hospital to work together to provide services to vulnerable families in the Manglaralto Parroquia.
